1. GENERAL TERMS
Online Piano Lessons provides the Service to individuals seeking private music lessons (“Students”) and to individuals offering private music lessons (“Teachers”), as well as any other person or entity on whose behalf these Terms are accepted.
The terms “you,” “User,” or “Users” refer to Students, Teachers, or any person or entity who accesses or uses the Service, including by viewing, browsing, or submitting content.
You accept these Terms by:
- Creating an account or booking lessons through the Service;

The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and forms part of your agreement with us.
3. SERVICES
The Service provides a marketplace connecting individuals seeking private music lessons (“Students”) with those offering private instruction (“Teachers”). Teachers act as independent contractors and retain full control over the methods, materials, and manner of instruction.
Students are responsible for selecting a Teacher that meets their needs. When making this decision, Students should review and verify each Teacher’s self-reported credentials, education, and experience.
If lessons involve a minor, a parent or responsible adult should supervise all sessions.
Online Piano Lessons operates from the United States and makes no representation that the Service is appropriate or available in all jurisdictions. Availability of Teachers and services may vary by location. Online Piano Lessons does not guarantee the delivery of communications between Teachers and Students.
4. ACADEMIC HONESTY
You acknowledge that Online Piano Lessons is intended to facilitate learning and private music instruction, not to complete work on your behalf. Accordingly, you may not engage Teachers to complete assignments, auditions, or any other work for you.

Parents or guardians must provide consent during registration, including authorization of a valid payment method and the sharing of necessary information with the Teacher. 19. ARBITRATION
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service, your use of it, User conduct, or these Terms shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration, to the extent permitted by law, in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). The AAA rules are available at https://adr.org.
This provision is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq. In the event of any conflict between the AAA rules and this provision, this provision will control unless the arbitrator determines otherwise to ensure fairness.
Arbitration Procedure
The parties will attempt to agree on a single arbitrator. If no agreement is reached, each party will select an arbitrator, and those arbitrators will appoint a single arbitrator.
The arbitrator will resolve the dispute based on applicable law and the evidence presented and may award any relief available in a court on an individual basis. The decision will be final, binding, and issued in writing.
Location, Costs, and Fees
Arbitration will take place at a mutually convenient location. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Each party will bear its own attorneys’ fees unless otherwise required by law. If arbitration costs would be prohibitive compared to litigation, Online Piano Lessons will cover such costs as necessary to ensure accessibility.
Additional Rights and Limitations
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking relief through an administrative agency where required by law. You are not entitled to recover duplicative damages.
To initiate arbitration, you must file a claim with the AAA and provide a copy to info@onlinepianolessons.com. You may represent yourself or be represented by counsel. Online Piano Lessons may assert counterclaims in the proceeding.
If any part of this arbitration provision is found unenforceable, disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
No Class Actions or Jury Trials
All claims must be brought on an individual basis and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or award relief on behalf of others.
You and Online Piano Lessons waive any right to a jury trial for disputes arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms.
20. INJUNCTION
You agree that a material breach of these Terms may cause irreparable harm to Online Piano Lessons for which monetary damages would be inadequate. In addition to all other available rights and remedies, Online Piano Lessons may seek equitable relief, including preliminary and permanent injunctions. You waive any requirement for the posting of a bond or other security in connection with such relief.
21. NOTICES; MODIFICATION AND TERMINATION OF SERVICES; AMENDMENT OF TERMS
Online Piano Lessons may provide notices via email, regular mail, or by posting them on the Service.
We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, suspend, or terminate the Service, in whole or in part, as well as your access to it, with or without notice. We may also delete or restrict access to related information and files. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Online Piano Lessons is not liable to you or any third party for any such actions or for any resulting loss of data or information.
Online Piano Lessons may amend these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms on the Service.

California Release
If you are a California resident, to the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Online Piano Lessons and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, losses, or damages arising out of or in any way connected with disputes related to the Service.
You expressly waive the provisions of California Civil Code §1542, which provides:
“A general release does not extend to claims which the releasor does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release, which, if known, must have materially affected the settlement with the releasee.”
California Consumer Notice
California users may contact Online Piano Lessons with any questions or concerns at info@onlinepianolessons.com.
24. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Online Piano Lessons with respect to their subject matter and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or versions of the Terms.
25. ASSIGNMENT; HEADINGS; SEVERABILITY; WAIVER
To the extent permitted by law, Online Piano Lessons may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, at any time without notice or your consent. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights granted under them, and any attempted assignment in violation of this provision will be null and void.
You may be subject to additional terms and conditions when using the Service or third-party products or services. These Terms shall bind and benefit the parties and their respective successors, assigns, licensees, and permitted transferees.
Section headings are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect. These Terms shall control in the event of any conflict with content or materials associated with the Service.
No failure or delay by Online Piano Lessons in exercising any right or enforcing any provision shall operate as a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing to be effective.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
