With a passion for contemporary sounds, Marcus guides students through modern pop, jazz, and beyond. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music from USC, a Certificate in Songwriting and Music Production from Berklee College of Music, and completed Berklee Online’s Modern Pop Arranging Workshop.

Marcus’s lessons are lively, hands-on, and project-focused: students learn songs they love while gaining insight into arranging, improvisation, and performance techniques. He thrives on helping students combine creativity and theory, making music education an active and personal experience rather than a purely technical exercise.

Outside of lessons, Marcus enjoys composing and recording original music, and he often incorporates these real-world examples into teaching. His students are encouraged to experiment, collaborate, and develop a unique musical voice, blending technical skill with personal expression.
