My name is Vesy, I’m a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from one of the best programs in the US-SUNY at Stony Brook. I’m happy to teach you the Art of Piano Playing!

As a professional pianist, accompanist, and dedicated piano teacher with over 15 years of experience I’ve been guiding piano students in the diverse environment of NYC. I have experience teaching all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced, young and adults. I’ve been offering lessons in studio, in students’ home, or virtually. My teaching and playing style is rooted in the Russian School of Piano Playing, emphasizing a beautiful tone quality, deep artistic expression, and strong technical mastery. For my beginner and intermediate students, I use trusted method series like Faber, Alfred, and Bastien to build a solid foundation. For more advanced pianists, we pick pieces from the classical repertoire while improving technique through scales, arpeggios, and etudes. I believe music should bring joy, so I love incorporating my students’ favorite Broadway tunes, film scores, or dream pieces into our lessons. To me, teaching is truly a labor of love. Touching student’s hearts and molding their minds is also a responsibility. Above all, I like to create a warm, encouraging environment where long-lasting relationships flourish with both my students and their families.

Over the course of my career, I served as a piano accompanist on the faculties of the Brooklyn College Preparatory Center for the Arts and the Lucy Moses School, as well as working as a rehearsal pianist for the American Classical Orchestra. For the past 10 years I’ve been a piano faculty at the “Art of Piano Playing” Music School and Riverside Music Studios. I’m proudly endorsed by the American Federation of Musicians and honored to be recognized as a Steinway Educational Partner and a member of Pi Kappa Lambda.
